PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Around 87,000 people attended this year's Oregon International Air Show.
Even with record-breaking heat on Saturday, air show officials reported strong attendance for each of the show's three days.
In anticipation of the heat, additional free water was brought in. Organizers reported only minor heat-related problems.
Ticket sales from the show will benefit local charities and nonprofit organizations.
Plans for next year's air show are already under way. It will feature the United States Navy Blue Angels from July 26-28, 2013.
Additional performers and ticket information will be announced later this year.
