SELLWOOD, OR (KPTV) -
The next George Lucas or Stephen Spielberg may emerge from Sellwood. It's all thanks to a generous donation to a movie making camp at The Boys and Girls Club.
Costume Kingdom (http://www.costumekingdom.com/) donated 25 new costumes on Monday.
They range in theme from Buzz Lightyear and Snow White to Benjamin Franklin and police officers. Some kids even had fun dressing up as cows.
"When they had movie making last year, we had to make all of our own stuff. So, for them to donate them, it was really cool because now we get to use cool costumes," said camper Camryn Reeves
The kids will be writing, directing and starring in their own movies during the course of the weeklong camp.
Camp organizers say the donation will provide inspiration and help them make lasting memories.
