Deputies arrested a man accused of beating two people with a vodka bottle at a rave party in Cowlitz County.
Jory Swanson, 19, of Longview is facing assault charges. He is in jail with a bail of $100,000.
Deputies said he was at a party July 22 in the woods off Frederickson Road, about 10 miles east of Woodland.
Swanson is accused of hitting two victims in the head from behind with the bottle.
One of the victims suffered a fractured skull and the other has permanent hearing loss as a result of the attacks, according to investigators.
Deputies said there was also a serious car crash in the Woodland area the following weekend. They believe it was connected to another rave party in the woods off Lewis River Highway.
If you know anything about the assault case or any parties involving underage drinking in that area, you're asked to call the Cowlitz County Sheriff's Office at 360-577-3092.
