Shooting investigation in SW Portland

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Police are investigating a shooting in southwest Portland Tuesday night.

Officers were called out at around 5:45 p.m. to the 3600 block of Spring Garden Street.

They learned a man was taken to the hospital before they arrived for a gunshot wound. It is not a life-threatening injury.

Officers said it was a domestic violence situation and the mother and son went to the hospital.

A man was seen in custody in the back of a police cruiser Tuesday night outside the home, which is surrounded by crime scene tape.
