TIOGA, TX (RNN) - Country singer Randy Travis has bonded out of jail after being arrested for DWI late Tuesday night.

According to the Grayson County Sheriff's Office, a caller reported a man lying in the road outside of Tioga, TX around 11:18 p.m.

The Texas Department of Public Safety says the singer's Trans Am had driven off the road and crashed after striking several barricades in a construction zone. Travis' mug shot shows a bruised eye and some facial cuts.

He was reportedly naked when officers picked him up.

A statement from the Grayson Sheriff's Office says the singer had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath and signs of intoxication. He refused a blood and breath test.

Officers obtained a warrant and took a blood specimen.

Travis was charged with driving while intoxicated and retaliation for allegedly threatening to shoot and kill troopers working the case. DWI is a misdemeanor with bond set at $1,500, while retaliation is a felony with bond set at $20,000.

Sgt. Rickey Wheeler says he bonded out of jail around 10:40 a.m. Wednesday.

It's the second arrest this year for Travis. In February, he was charged with public intoxication.
