WATERLOO, OR (KPTV) -
Linn County sheriffs are investigating the disappearance of a Waterloo man.
After not showing up for any of his scheduled appointments, those that work with Gary Douglas Baker, 69, reported his repeated absence to deputies. They told police that this was unusual behavior for Baker and worried that something may have gone wrong.
Deputies searched his home on three different days last week, but found no signs that led to information on his whereabouts. His car, however, was found on his sizable piece of land, totaling five acres.
Mr. Baker was unmarried, but did live with a nephew, 17. He, along with several business associates, are being interviewed as the investigation into Baker's disappearance continues. But thus far, authorities have yet to glean any information as to where he may be or had been going.
The Sheriff's Office encourage sanyone who may have information of the whereabouts of Gary Baker to contact the Linn County Sheriff's Office at 541-967-3950.
