PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
A man accused of attacking a woman in Washington Park, who is also facing rape charges out of Gresham, has pleaded not guilty to all the charges against him.
Kenneth Couch was arraigned in court Wednesday on charges of rape, strangulation, robbery and attempted sex abuse.
He is accused of grabbing a woman by the neck along a popular trail near Hoyt Arboretum on July 29.
She screamed and managed to fight back, which caused the suspect to run away, according to investigators.
Couch was arrested the next day.
He is facing rape charges for an attack that happened on June 24 in Gresham, according to court documents.
His trial is scheduled to begin on Sept. 20.
