Idol singer to perform at benefit concert - KPTV - FOX 12

A local singer who shined on American Idol will put on a show in Vancouver for a good cause.
Beaverton native Haley Johnsen is fresh off her American Idol World Tour.
She will be taking the stage at "An Evening in the Country" Saturday night.
The show starts at 6 p.m. at 23002 N.E. 83rd St., Vancouver.
Admission is free, but organizers will be raising funds through donations to benefit the Ameena Project's Kiang'ombe School in Kenya.
Organizers said $25 provides a child with one month's worth of education and two meals a day in a safe environment at the Kenya school.
Johnsen will take the stage following a lineup of local acts, featuring country, folk and indie artists.
