PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Half-gallon bottles of tequila are being recalled by the manufacturer.
The 1800 Tequila Silver brand, along with Tequila Reposado, are being voluntarily recalled in the 1.75-liter size.
Agavera Camichines announced the recall due to potential damage to the glass stopper during transportation.
The company believes the percentage of affected bottles is low, but announced the voluntary recall as a precautionary measure.
There have been no reports of injuries, but the presence of small particles of glass in the bottle could pose a health risk.
The Oregon Liquor Control Commission said customers can return unused portions of the affected products to an Oregon liquor store for a refund.
The 1800 Tequila bottles in all other sizes are not part of the recall.
