Groundbreaking for Keizer Transit Center - KPTV - FOX 12

There was a groundbreaking to celebrate the new Keizer Transit Center.
The $3.6 million center will include bus bays, passenger waiting areas, restrooms, a small office, break facilities, a park-and-ride lot and bicycle storage. The center will also be built with sustainable design elements, like a green roof, solar panels, electric vehicle charging stations and a water garden to manage storm water runoff.
The project is being funded by federal and state grant, and is expected to be completed early next year.
