PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
A dog is back with its owner after getting stuck in a blackberry bush.
The German Shepard named Koby was found Sunday stuck in a blackberry bush on Southeast 39th Avenue. Koby was found by Ron Morgan, who just happens to be the CEO of local pet emergency clinic Dove-Lewis Animal Hospital.
Morgan heard Koby, and tried to get him out without any luck. He called police for some help.
Koby was taken to Dove-Lewis to be checked out and was just fine.
He had a collar, but no tags or microchip. Koby's owner eventually came forward, and now has a microchip should something like this ever happen again.
Morgan said it's a good reminder to make sure your pet has identification.
