MCMINNVILLE, OR (KPTV) -
A McMinnville man was arrested early Saturday morning, accused of trying to steal beer from a store.
Police were called out to reports of a robbery at 4:30 a.m. Saturday at a 7-11 store, 901 S.E. Baker St.
Police determined three suspects entered the store to steal beer. An employee confronted the men, who then used physical force to try to get away with the beer.
The suspects ran away by the time officers arrived, but they located Brian Stanfield a few blocks away.
Stanfield, 25, was arrested and charged with one count of robbery.
The other suspects remain on the loose.
The 7-11 employee suffered minor injuries during the ordeal, but did not require medical treatment.
