PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

The Special Emergency Response Team was called out to a situation in north Portland, involving a woman in a wheelchair climbing a silo.

Officers were called out to North Randolph Avenue and River Street at around noon Tuesday.

Police said a woman in a wheelchair got into an argument with someone and then, for reasons that aren't clear, got out of her wheelchair and climbed up the side of an industrial silo.

She ended up on top of the structure, according to police.

The SERT team was called out because of the need for special tactics in this case.

Eventually, police and firefighters got her down safely with a ladder and a bucket.

She was transported to a local hospital and police said she won't be charged with a crime.

Her name is not being released.
