PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A Southeast Portland woman is in jail for allegedly running a chop shop at her home.

Early Tuesday morning, officers arrested 22-year-old Jewell Millspaugh at her home on Southeast Crystal Springs Boulevard.

That's where they said they found parts from cars recently stolen in the area.

Police said they caught on to the operation by neighbors calling in tips about suspicious activity.

Gary Lee lives right across the street and said he didn't know the details of what was going on until now.

"Just a lot of cars going in and out and going around in back of the house," Lee said. "We were wondering what was going on."

Around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, Portland police and SERT officers forced their way into the home. They said they found stolen parts and several cars and motorcycles in the process of being dismantled.

Millspaugh is charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle, possession of a stolen car and criminal mischief.

Police said there could be more arrests made in this case.
