
Local organizations are opening cooling centers to help you deal with the heat.
Fox 12 meteorologists are predicting temperatures 94 degrees in Portland on Wednesday. Triple digits are expected Thursday and Friday.

If you can't make it to a cooling center, Multnomah County has a few tips on how to stay safe.
They are asking Neighbors to help by checking in on elderly or disabled friends or relatives. Heat stroke or heat exhaustion are common conditions.
Please remember not to wait in a parked car, or leave a child, elder or pet inside even with the windows down.
Try to stay out of the sun, and wait to do strenuous work until later if possible.
Also, remember to put on sunscreen and drink lots of water.
