NEWBERG, OR (KPTV) -
Newberg Police are looking for a man who allegedly ran from a traffic stop Tuesday night.
Authorities say an officer tried to stop Ryan Crossley on Dayton Road when he got out of the car and ran away.
Police did call for backup and used the K-9 unit to search the area.
Crossley is wanted on an outstanding warrant and police consider him a dangerous fugitive.
Because of the suspect's dangerous criminal history, Newberg-Dundee dispatchers used a "Code Red", which is the agency's term for a reverse 911 call.
