Free swimming sessions at Portland pools

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Portland Parks & Recreation workers want you to stay in cool in one of their pools.

The parks department is offering free open play swimming sessions every week.

Certified lifeguard are on duty at each location.

The free swimming times are as follows:

12:30 p.m.-2 p.m. Monday, Creston Pool, 4454 S.E. Powell Blvd.

1 p.m.-2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Montavilla Pool, 8219 N.E. Glisan St.

1:05 p.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday, Buckman Pool, 320 S.E. 16th Ave.

2:10 p.m.-3:50 p.m. Wednesday, Columbia Pool, 7701 N. Chautauqua Blvd.

1:15 p.m.-3:15 p.m. Wednesday, Grant Pool, 2300 N.E. 33rd Ave.

7:20 p.m.-8:50 p.m. Wednesday, Sellwood Pool, 7951 S.E. 7th Ave.

1 p.m.-2:55 p.m. Thursday, Peninsula Pool, 700 N. Rosa Parks Way.

1:15 p.m.-3:45 p.m. Thursday, Dishman Pool, 77 N.E. Knott St.

1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. Friday, Pier Pool, North Seneca Street and St. Johns Avenue.
