
Portland firefighters were called out to two early morning fires on Wednesday.
The first was shortly after 1 a.m. at 4636 N.E. 95th Ave. The garage was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived.
No one was hurt and the damage is estimated to be $10,000. The cause is not yet known.
Then, at about 4:30 a.m., firefighters were dispatched to another fire at 2956 N.E. 57th Ave.
Callers reported the front porch was burning and everyone inside was evacuating the building.
Firefighters quickly put it out.
No one was hurt and the cause of the second fire is under investigation, as well. No damage estimate is available yet for that fire.
