The search for a missing hiker in the Russell Lake area has been suspended. Ronald Ohm went missing after he separated from his hiking party on Aug. 9. Ohm was last seen on the ridge above lake where he stopped to take photos. He was supposed to join his hiking party later, but never showed up.
The decision to end the active search was made after six days of searching. Ohm has a medical condition that required daily medication. Ohm's family was at the command post for the search and expressed their appreciation for the search effort.
