LAPEER, Mich. (AP) -
Speculation about who bought the $337 million-winning Powerball ticket at a gas station is the buzz of a small Michigan city.
The Michigan Lottery says
the ticket was sold in Lapeer, about 45 miles north of Detroit. There
wasn't immediate word about the buyer's identity.
A person who answered the
phone Thursday morning at the market and Sunoco station said he was too
busy to talk. But Tony Odish, who owns the market, tells The Flint
Journal "everybody's here." The Michigan Lottery says his business will
get a $50,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
The winning numbers in the
Wednesday night drawing were 6, 27, 46, 51, 56 and Powerball 21. The
Michigan Lottery says the winner could take a $241 million lump sum.
