PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Portland Police responded to reports of shots fired in the parking lot of the Gladstone Square Apartments in the Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhood overnight.
Officers arrived at the complex on Southeast Gladstone Street and contacted an adult male in one of the apartments that had been shot in the leg.
Medical personnel transported the victim to a Portland hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The Gang Enforcement Team detectives will be leading the investigation.
The suspect is described as a male of an unknown race, wearing a white hoodie, armed with a handgun and seen leaving the parking lot on foot.
