MCMINNVILLE, OR (KPTV) -
McMinnville police said a gang fight in a neighborhood led to two arrests.
It happened at 5 p.m. Tuesday night near Northwest 7th and Hickory Street.
Officers responded to a report of several people fighting.
When they arrived, a 16-year-old was bleeding from his nose and mouth.
The victim told officers two others teens attacked him and one of them brandished a knife during the fight.
The victim declined medical attention at the scene.
Police found the two 17-year-old suspects in a car a few blocks away.
They were both arrested and taken to the juvenile detention center.
They are both facing charges of disorderly conduct and third-degree assault. One of the teens is also charged with attempted assault in the second degree.
Police said all three teens involved in this case have been arrested in the past for crimes related to gangs.
The investigation is continuing and more arrests are possible, according to officers.
