Three teens were arrested Tuesday on suspicion of sexually assaulting an intoxicated 15-year-old girl allegedly passing in and out of consciousness, Prescott Valley police said.
The girl was found unresponsive by her father and rushed to the Yavapai Regional Medical Center. After she was treated, the victim told police she had been sexually assaulted at her home.
The girl told police investigators that she was at home with a a boy and girl, both 15, and 19-year-old Roberts Duff of Dewey. The four were reportedly consuming alcohol, said Sgt. Brandon Bonney of the Prescott Valley Police Department. The victim may have also used prescription pills not prescribed to her, Bonney said.
As the victim was allegedly passing in and out of consciousness, the two 15-year-olds allegedly sexually assaulted her, Bonney said. Afterwards, Duff also allegedly sexually assaulted her, Bonney said.
The three suspects were arrested Wednesday. The two juvenile suspects were booked into the Yavapai County Juvenile Detention Center on charges of sexual assault.
Duff was booked into the Yavapai County Jail for one count of sexual assault.
