PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
A man accused of running down a Rose Quarter security officer and driving off has pleaded guilty in court.
Marc Lacy pleaded guilty to assault and DUII charges Thursday.
The incident happened just before 6:30 a.m. June 26 at North Benton Avenue and Winning Way in the Rose Quarter.
A security guard told police someone broke the chain that secured the parking lot.
She approached a man near a Ford Explorer. She said he ran to the car, got inside and drove into her.
She was treated at the hospital for minor injuries.
The security guard snapped a photo of Lacy before the crash.
He was arrested later in the day at a home in north Portland.
A sentencing date for Lacy has not yet been set.
