
Several areas of the Mt. Hood and Willamette National Forests have been closed to the public due to the Waterfalls 2 wildfire on the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs Reservation.
The wildfire started on Aug. 4 by lightning and has grown to 2,700 acres.
The Mt. Hood and Willamette National Forest Supervisors have closed several areas including sections of the Pacific Crest Trail #2000, the Breitenbush Campground and Forest Road 4220 from Road 46 to the Horseshoe Campground.
The affected trail closures are Pacific Crest Trail #2000, Gibson Lake Trail #708, Horseshoe Lake Trai #712, and Ruddy Lake Trail #714.
