LAKE OSWEGO, OR (KPTV) -
One of the men facing charges for a Lake Oswego home invasion robbery is also connected to a murder investigation in Eugene.
David Taylor, 55, was arrested Aug. 8 in Eugene.
Taylor and Spensir Mourey, 25, are accused of tying up three people and hitting one person in the face with a butt of a gun in Lake Oswego on April 6.
Eugene police have also connected Taylor to a robbery and a murder case.
He is one of three people facing charges in the death of Celestino Gutierrez, 22, of Eugene.
Investigators found an abandoned car on Aug. 3 that they linked back to a June robbery at Siuslaw Valley Bank in Creswell.
Detectives said the car belonged to Celestino, who disappeared on Aug. 3.
His body was later found in a remote area of Lane County.
Taylor spent 27 years in prison for murdering a gas station attendant in 1977. He was paroled in 2004 and left state supervision in 2007.
