HOOD RIVER, OR (KPTV) -
The Hood River Sheriff's Office is searching for a man accused of stabbing his employer at a farm on Highway 35 on Saturday afternoon, deputies reported.
According to a news release, deputies are looking for Edgar Omar Rodriguez-Garibo. Investigators say Rodriguez, 38, attacked the orchard owner with a knife at approximately 1:30 p.m., and then left the scene on foot.
Deputies said the victim was taken to Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital where she was treated for her injuries and released later that day.
According to investigators, Rodriguez has worked and lived at farms in the Parkdale area for several years and is familiar with the area. He's described as 5'8" with black hair and brown eyes, and weighs 140 pounds.
