PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Police have arrested a man accused of shooting another man in the leg, but now officers are looking for the victim because he's wanted for violating his parole.
Portland police arrested Joseph Smith, 21, Wednesday morning.
Investigators believe he shot the victim in the leg at a home on the 7500 block of Southeast 69th Avenue on July 20.
Smith was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on assault and robbery charges.
Now, detectives are trying to track down Sean Cook.
Officers say he is the victim of the shooting, but he also has a parole violation warrant out for his arrest.
Cook, 37, is a Native American man, 6'2" tall and 220 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.
He is on parole for a drug-related crime.
Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest in this case.
