Flags to be flown at half-staff in memory of local soldier

Flags will be lowered to half-staff in memory of an Oregon soldier killed while serving in Afghanistan.

Gov. John Kitzhaber ordered all flags lowered this Saturday in honor of Army Pfc. Andrew Keller. The Tigard native was killed when enemy forces opened fire on his unit last week.

Kitzhaber said, "His death is tragic and he will be missed by many, but his legacy will not be forgotten."
