Highway reopens after grass fire near Lebanon

LEBANON, OR (KPTV) -

A two-alarm grass fire closed down a highway near Lebanon on Wednesday.

The fire burned close to Oregon Highway 34 at milepost 16.67, near Lebanon in Linn County.

The Oregon Department of Transportation closed part of the highway at 2:30 p.m., putting a detour in place using Denny School Road.

By 4 p.m. all lanes were open again.

The cause of the fire has not yet been released.
