Someone stole a large amount of commercial herbicides from a local nursery.
Workers at Bizon Nursery, 16314 French Prairie Rd. NE in Woodburn, arrived at their storage yard Thursday morning to discover the thefts.
They said it happened between 2-6 a.m. Thursday.
The list of stolen items includes 20 gallon-sized containers of Oryzalin, five gallon-sized containers of Oxystar, four gallon-sized containers of Goaltender and two gallon-sized containers of Speder.
The value of all the products is $2,400. They are used mostly in commercial applications for weeds or grass suppression.
Deputies said there is evidence that two suspects also broke into a vacant residence on the property.
Investigators believe they tried to steal a woodstove, but were not successful.
