PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
A man riding a motorcycle in Corbett died when he was struck head-on by a pickup truck Saturday night, and deputies said the pickup driver left the scene.
Multnomah County deputies said the 2012 Dodge Ram truck being driven by Brian Leymaster crossed the center line of Southeast Gordon Creek Road and was in the wrong lane when it struck the 1999 Yamaha motorcycle.
Motorcyclist Gar Riggs, 60, of Sandy, died in the crash.
Though deputies said Leymaster left the scene, they later arrested him and booked him into the Multnomah County Detention Center on charges of manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide, felony hit-and-run, driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving. It wasn't immediately clear how deputies tracked down Leymaster.
The Multnomah County Vehicular Crimes Team is continuing to investigate the crash.
