STEVENSON, WA (KPTV) -
A bomb threat was called into Skamania Lodge Monday afternoon.
Deputies said a caller notified the lodge operators that a bomb was going to go off. The call was made at 2:10 p.m.
Skamania Lodge workers immediately notified the sheriff's office and evacuated the lodge.
Deputies and firefighters arrived on scene and restricted the traffic flow around the area.
After confirming the lodge was completely evacuated, deputies began a thorough search of the common areas of the building as well as an outside perimeter check.
Search teams did not find anything suspicious.
At the conclusion of the search the lodge guests were notified it was safe to re-enter the building and they were advised if they saw anything suspicious to immediately contact lodge staff.
Sheriff's detectives are continuing to work with lodge staff as they follow-up on this case.
