A man accused of urinating in the Mt. Tabor reservoir will face one misdemeanor charge in court.

Joshua Seater will be arraigned in community court on Aug. 30 on the charge of misuse of a reservoir.

Back in June 2011, security cameras captured a group of people standing near the edge of the reservoir.

At one point, investigators said one of them visibly unzips his pants and goes to the bathroom down the wall of the reservoir.

The Portland Water Bureau drained and cleaned the reservoir at a cost of more than $30,000.

Nearly 8 million gallons of drinking water had to be flushed.

Portland's water supply remains uncovered, but the federal Environmental Protection Agency ruled all uncovered drinking water reservoirs in the U.S. either be covered or have treatment facilities installed at the outlets. There's a deadline of2020 in order to do so.
