PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
A man led Portland police officers on a chase, crashed into a yard and then ran off on foot in northeast Portland on Wednesday morning.
Officers said the man, first spotted at 8:55 a.m., was driving a Honda believed to have been stolen. He eluded police, but crashed into the yard at Northeast 166th Avenue and Wasco Street.
Police then chased him to the Tuxedo Park Apartments at 165th Avenue and Halsey, where he hid inside one of the apartments.
Eventually, the man came out and was taken into custody.
Police said the man was taken to a hospital to be treated for injuries he suffered in the crash.
His name hasn't been released, and there's no word yet on what charges he'll face.
