(RNN) – President Barack Obama went above and beyond to solicit the vote of 20-somethings, taking to Reddit after making his final stop on a two-day tour of college campuses on Wednesday.

After tweeting his intentions earlier Wednesday, Obama answered questions on a variety of topics ranging from the U.S. space program to, of course, internet freedom. Obama participated in Reddit's reoccurring feature "I am a," where the famous answer questions from users.

Obama also used his time on the social media forum to address the mounting financial problems for college graduates and fiscal responsibility in political campaigning.

"Money has always been a factor in politics, but we are seeing something new in the no-holds barred flow of seven and eight figure checks, most undisclosed, into super-PACs," Obama wrote. "They fundamentally threaten to overwhelm the political process over the long run and drown out the voices of ordinary citizens."

While the Republican party made it clear it was interested in the female vote during its convention in Tampa this week, the Obama campaign made it clear it will remain focused on connecting with young voters.

One Reddit user named "girlpart" had this to say about Obama's online chat session: "Coolest president ever? Coolest president ever."

Obama ended his college tour in Charlottesville, VA, earlier Wednesday, speaking to University of Virginia students. He made stops at Iowa State University in Ames and Colorado State University in Fort Collins on Tuesday.
