VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -
He's overcome so much and now London the pit bull is getting a new set of wheels.
The crew at Moto Corsa in Portland pitched in to give London a slick new way of getting around.
They customized his new cart with fresh paint and weatherized it so he can be out and about whenever he wants.
London was dropped off at a California humane society with severely fractured legs and eventually brought to a shelter in Vancouver.
His owners were arrested after investigators said they slammed the puppy on the floor numerous times and waited months to seek medical help.
A vet determined amputating the front legs would be best for London's long-term health.
Those who have helped with London's recovery said the dog is energetic, happy and very loving.
London has even started swim therapy.
And now when he's out of the pool, he'll have a stylish cart to help him get around.
You can see London on Saturday in Portland. The dog will be making an appearance from noon to 5 p.m. at the Sniff Dog Hotel, 1828 NW Raleigh St., to finally meet all the people who have been wishing him a speedy recovery.
