A man was stabbed near the Lloyd Center Friday night.
Police were called to the mall just before 7 p.m. and found the victim on the lower level outside Macy's near the ice rink.
The victim was alert and conscious, according to police, but he was taken to the hospital with what officers call "traumatic injuries."
One person was taken into custody.
Investigators said the stabbing likely occurred across from the mall in Holladay Park and the victim ran into the mall to call 911.
Both the victim and suspect are adult men and the stabbing is not believed to be gang-related.
Police have not released any other details about this case because of the ongoing investigation.
