Washington State Police are investigating a deadly motorcycle crash.
It happened on SR-14 at the Wintlerk Park/Evergreen Boulevard exit at around 2:45 a.m. Saturday morning.
Troopers said it appears a motorcyclist, 24, was heading east when he changed lanes, lost control and hit a guard rail.
The impact ejected the rider and the motorcycle came to rest 800 feet away blocking both lanes of traffic, troopers said.
Eastbound SR-14 remained closed until about 6:40 a.m. Saturday morning due to the investigation.
Troopers said Saturday morning that were working to determine if the rider was speeding, but that he was wearing a helmet.
