PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
The toddler police were looking for has been found.
Portland police said 1-year-old Daniel Helms was located by police Sunday and is now receiving medical care.
Friends of the toddler's mom, Aracele Helms, 15, called police to turn over the child.
Police said Aracele is still missing but she is now considered a runaway.
On Friday, police said Aracele and her son, Daniel, were last seen at Oregon Health Sciences University Waterfront facility.
Police said they never made it home.
Officials were concerned because Daniel suffers from several medical conditions that require him to take medication every two hours and they believed he was without his current medication.
