HILLSBORO, OR (KPTV) -

Police in Hillsboro say a standoff with a man at his home has ended peacefully.

Officers were called to the home in the 3800 block of southeast Cedar Street about 1:30 a.m. Monday on a domestic disturbance call.

When an officer arrived, they heard a gunshot inside the house and called for additional officers. He then heard an additional four rounds being fired.

Police say the suspect, Alsandair Miner, 29, who was alone in the home, refused to come out. Two adjacent homes were evacuated as police negotiators talked Miner for more than three hours.  He surrendered at about 5 a.m.

Miner is now being held at the Washington County Jail on charges that include menacing and unlawful use of a weapon.

No one was hurt.
