DUNDEE, OR (KPTV) -
Newberg-Dundee police are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery at the Arco station on Highway 99 near First Street in Dundee.
The crime happened early Saturday morning.
Witnesses said a man ran into the store and pointed a gun at the clerk. The suspect was carrying a pillow case for the money.
"I've seen this stuff on TV, but I never thought in a million years it would ever happen to me," said clerk Jeffrey Harriman.
The clerk emptied the cash register, police said, but it wasn't immediately clear how much money the thief managed to steal. He was last seen running towards the train tracks behind the store.
The suspect was wearing a mask and a hooded sweatshirt. He is described as being between 5'6" and 5'8" tall.
"I just want this guy caught so that way I can be at ease," said Harriman. "My stress still hasn't come down."
No one was injured in the armed robbery.
Police said there is surveillance video of the suspect, but that video has not yet been released to the public.
