HARRISBURG, OR (KPTV) -

Three people were hurt when a monster truck swerved off the track during an event near Eugene.

The crash happened around 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the Monster Air 2012 show in Harrisburg.

Linn County deputies said 28-year-old Kyle Atchley lost control of the truck before it went over an 8- to 10-foot barrier and careened into the stands.

He believes it had slowed to about 10 mph when the spectators were hit.

All three were taken to the hospital but are expected to be OK.

Investigators said the event was sanctioned and took place on private property.

No charges have been filed.
