Woman injured in Highway 26 motorcycle crash

BEAVERTON, OR (KPTV) -

A woman lost control of her motorcycle and crashed on Highway 26 westbound near the Cedar Hills Boulevard exit on Monday afternoon.

Beaverton police said there were initial reports of a hit-and-run causing the crash, but they now believe the rider simply lost control. Officers were making marks in the roadway just in case the crash developed into a criminal investigation.

The crash closed down multiple lanes of Highway 26 westbound near the Cedar Hills Boulevard exit, making for a big backup on Labor Day.
