Three accused of burglary at fire-damaged home

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Three people are accused of breaking into a Portland home Sunday morning.

Police responded to a report of a burglary in process just before 9:30 a.m. Sunday in the area of southeast 45th and Woodward.

Officers said they found three people inside the home when they arrived and arrested them.

A fire had recently damaged the house and nobody was living there.

All three suspects face first-degree burglary charges.

The SWAT team was called out to a Vancouver home Wednesday leading to the arrest of a child rape suspect. It all began unfolding around 3:20 p.m. on the 9200 block of Northeast 14th Way.
