MCMINNVILLE, OR (KPTV) -

McMinnville police were called out to reports of a gun being fired in a home and officers ended up arresting a man on drug charges.

Christopher Scott, 27, is charged with reckless endangering, unlawful possession of marijuana and manufacturing marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school.

Police went to his home at 1301 N.E. Johnson St. Sept. 1.

Investigators said he fired a shotgun from inside his home through a window toward the street and a neighboring home.

Nobody was hurt and officers said no one was intentionally targeted with the gun.

During the investigation, officers said they discovered an indoor marijuana growing operation.

They completed and executed a search warrant and seized more than an ounce of dried marijuana, along with one large mature marijuana plant and seven immature plants.

Officers also took watering and ventilation systems.
