If you're interested in becoming a volunteer, there will be 125 nonprofit agencies in downtown Portland Thursday interested in talking to you.
The Standard's Volunteer Expo returns to Pioneer Courthouse Square from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday.
Representatives from a diverse range of community-based organizations will be there to showcase their volunteer and advocacy opportunities.
You can find an organization that best fits your skills and interests, including one-time projects to longer-term commitments.
This is the fourth year for the annual event. It is free to attend.
