Tip line established for Thunderbird Hotel fire

Posted: Updated:
PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A hotline has been set up for any information about a fire that destroyed the historic Thunderbird Hotel on Hayden Island.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is looking for tips, videos or photos of the five-alarm fire that was reported just before 3 a.m. Sunday.

Anyone who can help is asked to call 1-800-800-3855 and select option 2 at the first voice prompt, then option 3 at the second prompt.

An agent will then be available to talk to you, at which point you are asked to reference the Portland Thunderbird fire.

You may remain anonymous, but your information is needed for any follow-up contact.

The hotel was vacant and the damage has been estimated at more than $5 million.
