ALOHA, OR (KPTV) -

A judge denied bail Thursday for a man accused of a gruesome killing at an Aloha home.

Washington County deputies said Christian Delaurentiis dismembered his roommate's body using hand tools and stored it in the freezer of the home they once shared on Southwest 217th Place.

Deputies started to investigate once a concerned friend called the sheriff's office to report Phillip Lindemuth's disappearance back in May.

Dr. Larry Lewman from the Oregon Medical Examiner's Office later said Lindemuth died of stab wounds to the chest, but declined to release more details, saying it was part of the investigation.

More details about the crime are expected to be released later Thursday.

The next court hearing for Delaurentiis, a scheduling conference, is set for next week.
