BEAVERTON, OR (KPTV) -
A 4-year-old child drowned in a bathtub in Beaverton Thursday.
Rescue crews were called out to the home on the 11000 block of Southwest Willet Terrace around 10:15 a.m.
Beaverton police said the child's mother called 911 and performed CPR until a team from Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue arrived and took over the efforts to save the child.
The child did not show any signs of life and was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead.
Beaverton police said they do not believe there is any foul play involved in this case. Instead, it appears to be a tragic accident.
The family is fully cooperating with the investigation.
